Saturday 30th May - I had a fabulous, if brief visit to Jersey to judge at their show.

​

Superb Island and lovely dogs

​

Southern Counties Championship Show





 

Sunday 31st May - A mad dash back from Jersey to judge at Southern Counties.

​

I had the honour of judging the Golden Retriever Bitches with CC's for the first time.

​

Delighted with my winners.

​

Along with my Co-Judge, it was agreed my bitch winner would take Best of Breed.

And a super Veteran bitch was best veteran in breed

Sunday 7th June - Blimey, I was actually showing!!!

​

Bolt - Sh Ch Meadowdale Daisydale Lightning Bolt, won 2nd in Open Dog, and was called back in, and won the RDCC along with Best Veteran in Breed 

​

Delighted when we was shortlisted in a super veteran group

​

A long day, especially as the day before, I was at the KC building taking my L4 hands on exam for Border terriers - Delighted to have passed

Saturday 23d May 2026 - I had the pleasure of judging at Bath Championship Show

​

American Cocker Spaniels and Irish Water Spaniels.

​

Delighted with the quality of dogs to chose from and that they won Group 1 and Group 2 respectively

​

Toasted the day with a large ice cream!

Super day at Birmingham National Dog Show.

9th May 2026

​

I had the honour of judging Curly Coated Retrievers and Sussex Spaniels, for the 1st time with CC.

​

I was impressed with the quality in both breeds, making some very close decisions

​

Once I had finished, I hot-footed to the other side of the showground to judge for the 'English Springer Spaniel Club' Championship Show. Delighted to be able to award the CC to a young male and give him his crown - congratulations

Jack Russell Terrier Club Show

Sunday 5th April 2026, I had the honour of judging the 'Special Award Classes' at the Jack Russell Terrier Club Show.

​

Delighted with the super dogs I had to judge

​

The photo shows the 3 class winners - note to self - not a good idea to try and get 3 terriers to behave for a photo!!!

Friday 15th May 2026 saw me up in Edinburgh to judge for the Scottish Kennel Club.

​

I had the pleasure of judging the Bedlington Terriers, this is my 2nd time with CC's.

​

It was damn cold, but stayed dry.

​

Sunday 8th March 2026 - CRUFTS 2026

WOW - what a day!

​

Taking Twix and Bolt

Twix won 3rd  in Limit dog

​

Bolt was in Open dog, and delighted when he won the class. The day just kept getting better and better, as he went onto win the DCC & BOB.

​

A huge 'Thank you' to our judge Mrs Sue Aston (Tasa) a breed specialist.

​

He did me proud in the big ring, strutting his stuff in the big main ring

​

Saturday 24th January 2026, I head up north to judge the 'Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cheshire Border Terrier Club Open Show.
