Spaniel Club of Denmark

Friday 6th May 2016, my friend Lesley and I head of to Denmark, as I was judging the Spaniel Show

Arriving in Denmark mid afternoon, the weather was fabulous and our hosts very welcoming. We were taken to our hotel about 45 mins away from the airport at Aarhus - which is beautiful, our room was right on the beach.

We had chance to have a look around Aarhus, and walk along the seafront.

The Show was held in a purpose made dog venue near to the airport.
I chose the English Springer Spaniel as my 'Best in Show' and the Cocker Spaniel as Reserve
The Clumber was Best Puppy in Show

Curly Coated Retriever Seminar

16th April, I was fortunate to have attended the Curly Coated Retriever A3 assessment seminar.

It was such a well run day, with a good selection of dogs. Delighted to have passed

Welsh Terrier Seminar

10th April 2016, a nice weekend away in Wales, staying at a super B&B to attend the Welsh Terrier Seminar A3 Assessment.

So well put together, with 3 breeds being shown to show the differences, so we had a Wire Fox, Lakeland and a Welsh - what a good idea

Again a good selection of dogs for the assessment - delighted to have passed

SWD BIS 2016
SWD final line up 2016

It has been a busy couple of months, not all showing, but attending seminars, having a trade stand, judging and the odd showing thrown in for good measure

Delighted to have passed the Irish Red & White Setter Breed Specific seminar, and also the Irish Setter Breed Specific Seminar

A super time judging at Barking Open Show, and Isle of Wight Open Show, I had some really super dogs entered under me. Delighted when my Vizsla BOB went onto win BIS at Isle of Wight.

Showing in September and October saw 'Flame' (Flaming Whirlwind of Meadowdale) gain the last few points to win her Junior Warrant

This time also saw me dip my toe into having a trade stand at a couple of the Open Shows. Thank you to all those who came to visit the stand, with Snoods, coats, and show armbands to choose from.

The latest Show attended was the Midland Championship Show, our judge was Jackie Weyman, we had a lovely day with Chaos being awarded Best Male and Best Opposite Sex. Flame won both of her classes.
